Roland CR-78 – KADI PORT

£66.00 to £141.00 ex VAT
£79.20 to £169.20 inc VAT

PLEASE NOTE: Installing a socket upgrade kit is a skilled job which should be undertaken only by a competent synth service engineer or installed by us at our premises in Tadworth, just outside London.

This socket upgrade kit is built to order after your payment has been processed. It then takes us up to 10 working days to build and test the kit before we can despatch it.

The picture shows a typical Socket upgrade

This Socket upgrade adds a KADI port to the CR-78 enabling the individual sounds of the CR-78 to be played using KADI port output of any Kenton device which is fitted with a KADI port. These devices are:
Pro-2000 if fitted with the optional KADI port

Ten sounds can be played individually, with or without accent which is determined by a pre-set velocity level.
While the KADI port is connected to a KADI device the sounds can only be played from MIDI. When the KADI cable is unplugged (or the KADI device is turned off) the CR-78 will revert to normal operation. See the retrofit kit if you need more control.

The kit contains all necessary components and diagrams for connecting the wires / components, and mounting the 15 pin high density D socket.

Note 1): A KADI cable is not included, as this is supplied with the Pro-KADI or optional KADI add-on port for the Pro-2000 (although not with a Pro-4).
