Find out how you can control your Linn LM-1 with MIDI using Kenton MIDI Retrofit Kits
The Linn LM-1 Drum Computer doesn’t have MIDI or CV/Gate sockets. In order to connect with MIDI you will need to install a MIDI Retrofit Kit.
There are 2 versions of the Linn LM-1:
- Early Version – this has the volume control in the top left of the panel
- Later Version – this has the volume control in the top centre of the panel
We have a MIDI Retrofit Kit for each of versions of the LM-1. The kit adds MIDI IN, THRU and OUT sockets to your LM-1. For more information on the functionality added, see the product pages (links below).
Fitting a retrofit kit is a skilled job which should be undertaken only by a competent synth service engineer or fitted by us at our premises in Tadworth, near London (UK customers only).
