Description
THRU-25 is a MIDI THRU box that receives MIDI data from a single MIDI OUT (e.g. your DAW, sequencer or master keyboard) and produces identical copies at the 25 MIDI THRU sockets. These can then be connected to the MIDI INs of each your synths, sound modules or other MIDI devices.
By presenting a clean MIDI signal simultaneously to each MIDI device, a MIDI THRU box eliminates issues that can be caused by daisy-chaining your MIDI devices. While daisy chaining works fine for a small setup of two or three devices, it can introduce issues as your rig grows; each link adds some latency, the signal degrades, and each MIDI device relies on all the earlier devices in the chain. Using a MIDI THRU box eliminates latency/jitter issues, dropped or stuck notes and choppy filter sweeps, and reliance on all your other devices.
THRU-25 is housed in a high quality aluminum case and powered from a mains adapter (wall wart) so you can fit and forget.

Does THRU-25 support MIDI Polyphonic Expression?
MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) is an extension of MIDI that uses a dedicated MIDI channel for each note, rather than all using the same channel for all notes. THRU-25 is fully compatible with MPE.
