Description
The latest in our popular Pro Solo line of converters, the Pro Solo Mk3 features a number of improvements over its predecessor; including 3 continuously variable auxiliary outputs, a built-in ADSR envelope generator, the ability to smooth out steppy MIDI CCs and more.
The Pro Solo Mk3 is highly configurable and is the ideal converter for anyone looking to incorporate an analogue synthesizer, vintage or otherwise, into their MIDI setup. The CV output can operate at 1V/Oct, Hz/Volt or 1.2V/Oct. The scaling and tuning are adjustable, to accommodate any unruly synths. The Gate output can work at several different voltage levels, and can also be set to work a S-trig instead.
The three continuously variable auxiliary outputs are presented on 3.5mm jack sockets; and can be configured to respond to MIDI CCs, velocity, aftertouch, clock and more. In addition to this, the MIDI OUT port can be switched to output Sync24, so your vintage Roland equipment can join in as well.
All leads are sold separately as we do not know what you want to connect to.
Features
Power: 9V DC (regulated or unregulated) – never apply more than 12V(never use an unregulated supply greater than 9V as unregulated supplies typically give a higher output than shown). 9V multi-region, switch mode power supply is included. It has 4 interchangeable heads suitable for most parts of the world, including UK, Europe, USA, Canada, Japan, Australia & New Zealand
Dimensions: 140 x 87 x 45 mm
Weight: 210g
MIDI: In, Thru (selectable)
Analogue Outputs: CV on 3.5mm jack (V/oct or Hz/V)
Gate on 3.5mm jack (Gate or S-trig)
Aux 1, 2 & 3 on 3.5 mm jack
Sync 24 Output: MIDI Thru socket switchable to work as Sync 24 output instead, with variable CPQN ratio

What’s new or different about the Mk3?
Aux 2 & Aux 3 are now continuously variable analogue outputs and are presented on 3.5mm jack sockets
Expanded selection of Controllers available for the Aux outputs
The Aux outputs now have adjustable slew rate (rise/fall time) to enable you to smooth out any controller jumps
Built-in ADSR envelope generator (the controls for which can be assigned to MIDI CCs)
Drum Trigger mode – Aux outputs can be set to produce a velocity-variable trigger pulse for drum synths, each with its own dedicated trigger note
Dual clock dividers, which can be used simultaneously on different outputs, including the DIN socket when not used as MIDI out
Variable gate-off time for re-trigger (multiple trigger)
32 program memories which can store and recall setups
MIDI Program Changes can be used to recall setups
Pre-loaded setups for many of the most popular synths
