Moog Werkstatt

Find out how you can control your Moog Werkstatt with MIDI using Kenton MIDI Retrofit Kits or MIDI to CV converters

The Werkstatt doesn’t have MIDI, but its CV Expander offers some input sockets. Kenton can get your Werkstatt connected to MIDI with the Pro Solo Mk3.

The Moog Werkstatt is already fitted with many control sockets including VCO EXP FM IN, VCA FM IN, VCF FM IN and LFO FM IN which allow you to control the notes.

Which products do I need for the Moog Werkstatt?

You will need a Pro Solo Mk3 and 4 x 3.5 to 3.5mm mono jack leads to connect it to the Werkstatt.

Connecting the MIDI to CV converter

Connect the Pro Solo Mk3 to the Werkstatt follows:

Notes
1. You could use the GATE output, but using EG allows you to shape the note using the Pro Solo’s own ADSR
2. You could also use the ADSR to control the filter cutoff
3. The Pro Solo Mk3 will also allow you to use its own LFO to modify the CV Output.
4. The control voltage is added to the Werkstatt’s own keyboard / filter cutoff voltage.
