How to combine multiple MIDI sources into one

What happens when you’re in the studio or playing live with multiple keyboards and controllers – and probably a computer too – and you want to use any or all of them to control your synths without having to re-plug every time you want to use a different keyboard or controller? Or perhaps you want to minimise the number of MIDI cables in your recording setup or on stage?

Kenton MERGE boxes combine the data from multiple separate MIDI sources (e.g. Master keyboards or controllers) into a single MIDI data stream which appears at both of the MIDI out sockets, and includes all the essential MIDI data including MIDI Clock, MIDI time code and SysEx.
