The Moog Multimoog doesn’t have MIDI, but does have CV/Trig/VCF sockets, so you can use a MIDI to CV converter to control your Multimoog using MIDI from your DAW, MIDI Sequencer or other MIDI controller .

Which products do I need for the Moog Multimoog?

Our MIDI to CV converters have CV and GATE outputs, and a number of Aux outputs that can be configured for your specific requirements.

Both the Pro Solo Mk3 and USB Solo (not currently available) have sufficiently flexible Aux outputs to provide the 3 signals required to play notes and modify filter cutoff. You will need an S-trig lead and 2 x 3.5mm to 1/4″ mono jack leads to connect it to the Multimoog.

Connecting the MIDI to CV converter

Connect the Pro Solo Mk3 or USB Solo to the Multimoog as follows:

Notes
1. KBD OUTPUT is a dual-purpose jack that can also be used as an input.
Connecting the MIDI to CV converter to the Multimoog will disable note selection from its keyboard.

Set up the Pro Solo Mk3 as follows:

1. The Pro Solo Mk3 will also allow you to use its own ADSR Envelope Generator to modify the filter cutoff.
